Weatherby is celebrating its 70th anniversary in style by offering a limited-edition Mark V custom rifle package that includes a limited-edition Mark V rifle, a custom leather rifle case and a commemorative knife handcrafted by Dan Weatherby. The company is only producing 70 of these exclusive packages.
"This 70th Anniversary rifle is as special as it is rare," said Adam Weatherby, executive vice president/chief operating officer. "It is meant to honor Weatherby's unique past while inspiring the dreams of hunters and shooters around the world."

The Mark V 70th Anniversary rifle is only available in .257 Weatherby Magnum, company founder Roy Weatherby's favorite caliber. The rifle features an exhibition-grade California claro walnut stock with a high-gloss finish and a Pachmayr waffle-style recoil pad. The stock incorporates skipline checkering as well as double forend tip and grip cap spacers designed to replicate those of custom 1960's-era Weatherby rifles.
All of the rifle's metalwork sports a high-gloss finish, and the custom-designed steel bottom floorplate is embellished with Weatherby's 70th Anniversary logo etched in gold. The barrel length of the rifle is 24 inches and has a #1 contour.
The commemorative knife that comes in the package features a handle crafted from reclaimed Mark V stocks in exhibition-grade wood and finished with nickel silver bolsters and pins. The knife's blade is honed from 440c stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness factor of 58-59, and the gold 70th Anniversary logo — as well as Dan Weatherby's signature — adorns the blade.
The custom leather rifle case, which features a combination locking system and carrying handle, rounds out the exclusive package.
The limited-time 70th Anniversary Weatherby Mark V custom rifle package is available for $5,900.
