Built on a durable foundation of forged steel in its barrel, slide and frame, the Emissary offers a defensive pistol with an air of custom refinement. The pistol has a beautiful two-tone finish, with a blued carbon steel slide and a stainless-steel frame with squared trigger guard. A “Tri-Top” cut to the slide gives the pistol custom-grade styling, while a heavy-profile bull barrel delivers maximum accuracy and reduces felt recoil.


The Emissary blends form and function seamlessly in a defensive-minded firearm loaded with custom-grade features.


TRI-TOP SLIDE

The Emissary features a Tri-Top cut slide with forward lightening grooves and a flattened and serrated top strap for light diffusion and glare reduction in bright light. Springfield Armory’s U-Dot™ sights are ideal for defensive situations offering fast and intuitive acquisition while providing a tritium/luminescent front sight for low light conditions.

Ensuring a lifetime of service, the Emissary features a rugged forged frame and slide, the heart and soul of all Springfield Armory 1911 pistols.

SKELETONIZED HAMMER

GEN 2 SPEED TRIGGER

Featuring a simplified and streamlined design, the Gen 2 Speed Trigger of the Emissary delivers top-end performance.

BLUED SLIDE

With beautifully polished flats, the slide of the Emissary features a deep hot salt bluing finish.

ACCESSORY RAIL

Integrated into the forged steel frame is a strip of Picatinny accessory rail, ready to accept the light, laser or combo unit of your choice.

BULL BARREL

The Emissary’s heavy-profile bull barrel is designed for maximum accuracy and reduced muzzle flip. In addition, it features a fully supported feed ramp for strength and reliability.

GET A GRIP

The Emissary is fully wrapped in a grenade pattern texture for firm engagement in adverse conditions. The slimline grips are machined from G10 while the mainspring housing and front strap are machined to match.
