MKS Supply has announced that it is reproducing the original, WWII-era Inland brand M1 Carbine . The new .30-caliber M1 Carbines, built according to the same specifications as the Inland Manufacturing carbines, will be marketed exclusively by MKS Supply.
There are three models of the Inland M1 Carbine available, and all are manufactured completely in the U.S. using American-made parts. The M1 1944 sports an original wood stock without a bayonet lug and comes with one 10-round magazine, while the M1 1945 features an original wood stock with a bayonet lug and includes one 15-round magazine. The M1A1 Paratrooper incorporates the original folding heavy wire stock found on Paratrooper models, comes with one 15-round magazine and has no bayonet lug.
All Inland M1 Carbine models come with a cloth sling and oiler resembling those given to troops during the war and feature 1944-era "peep" sights, as well as the original arsenal-stamped stock markings known as cartouches. Extra 15- and 30-round magazines are not available with this offer, but all models will accept original and correct replica 15- and 30-round magazines.
The M1 1944 and M1 1945 are available for $1,049, while the M1A1 Paratrooper is available for $1,179.
