SureFire has introduced a number of new products for 2016, including two revolutionary light systems that are designed to integrate into anyone's daily carry kit.
SureFire FirePak Video Illuminator
The SureFire FirePak is a dual flashlight/battery pack that slips onto rails in the SureFire phone case. When used as a flashlight or video illuminator, the FirePak generates light using five preset options from five lumens all the way up to 1,500 lumens. The FirePak is controllable through a downloadable app that manages the lighting via Bluetooth.
The FirePak can also be used as a battery for your phone in emergency situations using the USB port. Simply plug your phone into the USB port and begin charging. The FirePak is available for iPhone 6/6s and Samsung Galaxy S5 phones.
SureFire Sidekick
The SureFire Sidekick is an ultra-compact dual-output LED light that is designed to be carried and used by everyone. The rechargeable Sidekick is made from tough polymer and features three output levels that are controlled like a key fob.
On its highest setting, the Sidekick produces a 300-lumen MaxVision beam that is useful out to a range of 50 meters. The output is programmed to run in a low-medium-high order, but it can be reprogrammed to produce a high-output beam first.
Total runtime is 1.25 hours on high and 45 hours on low and weighs 1.2 ounces. The Sidekick's lithium polymer battery is rechargeable using an included Micro USB cable.
