AMERIGLO, an American maker of tritium, painted dot, fiber rod, and custom OEM (original equipment manufacturer) iron sights, is entering the pistol optics sphere with the AMERIGLO Haven Red-Dot Sight . It’s available with a 3.5 or 5.0 MOA dot, or you can opt for the Carry-Ready Combo with optic compatible iron sights for the GLOCK MOS system. The company utilizes the Trijicon RMR (Ruggardized Miniature Reflex) sight footprint so that the sight is ready for immediate installation on most of today’s optics-ready pistols.
The Haven features a large window, bright red dot, and an easy-to-see vertical post on the rear deck for an immediate and intuitive aiming point. Its electronics and optomechanical design can withstand the most powerful handguns on the market, and the sight’s profile makes it compatible with common IWB/OWB holsters.
Battery Features The Haven has a side-load battery compartment so that you don’t have to re-zero when you switch out. The red dot runs on a single CR2032 battery, which can last up to three years on the Low setting and one year on the Mid/High setting. You can also select a 12-hour runtime, or a 12-hour motion-activated auto-on to conserve battery life. AMERIGLO refers to that as the Haven’s Power Protect feature.

Settings and Adjustments The Haven gives you 11 brightness settings, with two for night-vision compatible options. AMERIGLO’s Carry-Loc mode fixes your desired setting and prevents unintentional button presses. Windage and elevation adjustments are made at 1 click per 1 MOA, and your adjustment range is +/- 45 MOA.
Compatible Pistols You can put the Haven red dot on numerous optics-ready pistols, including the GLOCK MOS (excluding Slimline models), Smith & Wesson’s C.O.R.E., Springfield Armory’s OSP, Beretta APX RDO, Canik TP9SFX, FN 509 MRD & Tactical Series/FNX, CZ-P10 optic compatible models, the Walther Arms Q4/A5/PDP, and more.
