Guns and Ammo's Craig Boddington has the TruGlo Triton scope mounted on his bolt rifle and is putting it through the paces in tough conditions.
Bright light is the bane of many illuminated dot scopes and the bright sun is serving as a challenge during Boddington's review. The Triton, however, stands up to the task and delivers excellent visibility at a variety of setting.
The scope has a total of 12 different arrangements including a 2.5-minute dot, 5-minute dot, 2.5 withing a circle and a 5 within a circle. You can also choose between red, blue and green illumination with different intensities of each.
The sight is lightweight, compact and features full windage and elevation adjustments and is an ideal pairing to a scout rifle or something from the AR platform. TruGlo has a full line up scopes and dot-style options have been amongst their most popular. The Triton 28mm looks to be another solid offering in the lineup.
