SIG Sauer's new Legion Series handguns offer users a chance to join an exclusive group of shooters who will be given exclusive access to guns and gear designed especially for the Legion.
"We have worked with elite SIG users for years as we have developed the Legion," said Jeff Creamer, executive director and general merchandise manager for SIG SAUER, Inc.
"We wanted to know what custom features professionals were seeking as factory enhancements. The result is a line of high performance firearms and accessories that deliver not only what elite users need, but what they want."

To join the Legion, just buy a Legion Series handgun. SIG offers three options: The P226 Legion, P226 SAO Legion and the P229 Legion. Suggested retail is $1,428 for each handgun option.
Each handgun comes in 9mm, .357 SIG or .40 S&W. The only exception is the P226 SAO, which comes in 9mm only.
Each pistol comes with Legion-specific upgrades, including a reduced and contoured beavertail, adjustable trigger and SIG's own electro-optics X-RAY high-visibility day/night sights.

The true Legion experience begins, however, once a user registers the handgun.
Simply call SIG with the handgun's serial number to register, and the company will send a complimentary custom Thermo-Mold case custom-fit for your specific gun along with a challenge coin matched to your pistol.
The registration also comes with a user-specific log-in that unlocks the Legion section of the SIG website. Here users can find Legion-specific product offerings from companies such as Surefire, Peltor and Blackpoint Tactical.
The Legion has also partnered with several blade makers to offer knives to members. Such companies include Emerson Knives, Rick Hinderer, Daniel Winkler and Duane Dwyer. Many other companies will also be offering different lifestyle accessories.
Legion Series handguns are projected to start shipping in November 2015.
