Q&A with Merrisa Bishop of Bishop Ammunition and Firearms

OSG's Michael Bane and Merrisa Bishop, of Bishop Ammunition and Firearms, sit down to discuss the small, yet advanced, Californian company.

Bishop Ammunition and Firearms is run by two women, and a lot of military experience. Both women are veterans, and use their knowledge and background to create unique, powerful firearms.

Bishop begins by bringing out the 458 SOCOM bolt action rifle, custom made to each buyer's specifications. Bishop assures this dangerous game rifle will not jam, and is only 8 pounds, with the ability to carry seven rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber. Bishop tells Michael that every firearm is tested personally by her; and if she doesn't approve, it will not be shipped out.

Lastly, Bishop brings out one of her scopes. The scope is shock proof, water proof, and dust proof, and Bishop gives customers a lifetime warranty on it. The scope comes with two mounts and a set of rings, all costing around $429.
