Q&A with Dr. Dan Olesnicky at SHOT Show 2018

Dr. Dan Olesnicky, an experienced first-response physician, sat down with Michael Bane at SHOT Show 2018 to discuss SWAT Fuel, new supplements, and personal safety. Dr. Olesnicky has worked with S.W.A.T. and other first-response teams throughout his career, and has appeared on multiple episodes of Outdoor Channel's The Best Defense.

Olesnicky spoke with Bane about what other items a person should carry when also carrying a firearm. Two items that Olesnicky carries along with his gun are a tourniquet and a small flashlight. He carries a tactical light that can be attached to his gun if necessary. The tourniquet is for safety in case of an accident or if someone happens to be shot. Olesnicky recommends not only carrying these items, but knowing how to use them before you might need them.

Dr. Olesnicky also spoke with Bane about the company he founded, SWAT Fuel, and some of the supplements they offer. The supplements are geared to meet the needs of law enforcement, fire fighters, military and EMS. These supplements are designed with combat physiology in mind. Olesnicky showed Bane the 40 caliber multivitamin, which support overall healthiness, and the 9mm+P endurance formula that gives solid energy with no crash. Overall, these SWAT Fuel supplements are designed to help keep the body healthy and alert during a serious situation.
