New Magnum Research Stainless Steel Desert Eagle 1911s

Magnum_research_stainless_1911_FMagnum Research has introduced three new stainless steel models to its Desert Eagle 1911 line of pistols. The Desert Eagle 1911G, 1911C and 1911U are now available with a stainless steel finish.

The full-size Desert Eagle 1911 GSS features a 5.05-inch barrel, an overall length of 8.625 inches, a slide width of 1.28 inches and a weight of 36.2 ounces. It has a slide thickness of 0.92 inches and a grip thickness of 1.30 inches. The trigger pull on the 1911 GSS ranges from 3 to 4 pounds, and the pistol has a trigger reach of 2.77 inches. The 1911 GSS features front-strap checkering at 20 lines per inch, a high-profile rear sight that is drift adjustable for windage and a pinned-in white dot front sight.

The Desert Eagle 1911 CSS incorporates many of the same features as the 1911GSS but has a slightly shorter barrel length of 4.33 inches, an overall length of 7.87 inches and weighs 33.9 ounces.

The Desert Eagle 1911 USS, or "undercover" model, features an aluminum anodized frame and a stainless steel slide. It has has a barrel length of 3 inches, a height of 5 inches, an overall length of 6.85 inches and weighs 25.8 ounces.

All three models have the Series 70 configuration and include two magazines. The 1911 GSS and 1911 CSS come with two eight-round magazines, while the 1911 USS ships with two six-round magazines.

"The demand for our 1911 models has always been strong for Magnum Research." stated Jim Tertin, director of manufacturing for Magnum Research. "So we decided to dress it up, and with the combination of the crisp trigger pull and the accuracy, this will be a very fun gun to shoot. It looks good, fits well in your hand and with stainless steel you can expect to be able to pass it down to your son or daughter."

The Desert Eagle 1911 GSS and 1911 CSS are available for $904, and the 1911 USS is available for $1,019.

Magnum Research Desert Eagle 1911 CSS

The Desert Eagle 1911 CSS incorporates many of the same features as the 1911 GSS but has a slightly shorter barrel length of 4.33 inches, an overall length of 7.87 inches and weighs 33.9 ounces. It is available for $904.

Magnum Research Desert Eagle 1911 USS

The "U" in 1911 USS stands for "undercover." With a a barrel length of 3 inches, a height of 5 inches, an overall length of 6.85 inches and a weight of 25.8 ounces, the 1911 USS is designed as a concealed carry pistol. The Desert Eagle 1911 USS features an aluminum anodized frame and a stainless steel slide. It is available for [imo-slideshow gallery= 509],019.
