Introducing Hornady Critical Duty Ammo

Critical DutyHornady's got law enforcement covered with its latest line of super tough penetrating ammo.

Critical Duty ammo is the latest Hornady product focusing primarily on law enforcement officials.

Using the Flex Tip design of Hornady's new FlexLock bullet, Critical Duty eliminates clogging and aids expansion, and its InterLock band keeps the bullet and core from separating, unlike some law enforcement ammo currently on the market.

Critical Duty ammo also features a cannelured bullet with crimped casing to ensure no setback during feeding.

A high-antimony lead core ensures a tough bullet that has been tested through various FBI barriers, including bare ballistics gel, heavy clothing, drywall, plywood, sheet metal and glass. Its nickel-plated cases not only resist corrosion, but allow for greater visibility for low-light chamber checks.

Critical Duty is available in 9mm 135 GR, 9MM Luger+P 135 GR, and 40 S&W 175 GR all for $28.75 per box.

Check out their video, and expect more in-depth coverage from Guns & Ammo very soon.
