The Hornady ELD line of bullets are ballistic marvels. Hornady developed them using Doppler radar technology and optimized the design for both competition (ELD-M) and hunting (ELD-X) applications.

The key to the success of the ELD is Hornady’s heat-shield technology, which prevents expansion while the bullet is in flight that causes drag. The ELD-X expands well at low velocity for use as a hunting bullet but doesn’t explode when shot at high velocity.
