If you're looking for great training gear, enter the Crimson Trace "Train Accordingly" Giveaway.
For November 2015, the company partnered with Laser Ammo to create three prize packages that will be given away throughout the month.
According to Crimson Trace Director of Marketing Kent Thomas, the giveaway is part of a push to get shooters training with dry-fire exercises to hone their skills during the winter months.
"With the days shorter and nights darker, firearm owners can keep their skills in top form by practicing over the winter," Thomas said. "After all, the world can be a dangerous and unpredictable place. We want our fans to train accordingly."
All three prize packages include Crimson Trace's CMR-206 Rail Master Universal Green Laser Sight.
Laser Ammo is providing a number of different prizes for the giveaway. The grand prize includes the company's Smokeless Range Simulator and SureStrike Ultimate LE Training Kit.
The second-place prize includes the SureStrike Premium Plus Kit and the LaserPET Electronic Target, while the third-place prize is a SureStrike 9mm Cartridge.
Chen Shoshani, Laser Ammo's vice president of business development and finance, said the company prides itself on providing shooters with ways to keep their skills sharp year-round.
"Shooting skills aren't permanent — it's important to keep practicing, even when the weather doesn't permit it," Shoshani said. "If you don't train in the winter, your skills can deteriorate dramatically. That's where laser training comes in. It's a cost-effective way to maintain your abilities no matter the temperature."
To enter the giveaway, visit the Laser Ammo website. The contest runs until Nov. 20.
