Your search for a hunting rifle that is suppressor-ready straight out of the box has finally met its end with the Browning X-Bolt Speed SR. Modeled after our hugely popular Speed rifles, what makes this rifle unique to other X-Bolts is the use of barrel lengths that are 4 inch shorter than normally designated for the caliber. The reduced barrel length keeps the overall length of the rifle short, even when using a suppressor. Additional benefits include lighter weight and an increase in stiffness. The lightweight profile barrel is fluted to improve cooling for more consistency between shots. The end of the barrel is belled slightly to accommodate the 5/8"-24 SR threading. Not ready for a suppressor? A radial-style muzzle brake and thread protector are included and, with the shorter overall length of the rifle, turn it into a formidable brush gun.

X-Bolt Speed models are built to be accurate in tough conditions. In addition to all of the great features that contribute to the award-winning accuracy of the X-Bolt, Speed rifles also include the protection of Cerakote that offers improved protection to steel surfaces when compared to traditional blueing and a stable composite stock with Browning OVIX Camouflage. The Speed SR is available in a variety of calibers ranging from the varmit-ready 204 Ruger up to the flat shooting 300 PRC.

  • Match-grade fluted sporter weight barrel with belled muzzle is threaded for suppressor
  • 5/8"-24 suppressor ready threads
  • Radial muzzle brake and thread protector included
  • Versatile Browning OVIX camo finish
  • Smoked Bronze Cerakote metal finish for superior corrosion resistance

Features

  • Barrel Accuracy: The X-Bolt is free-floated by bedding the front and rear of the action for stability and to help maintain barrel-to-stock spacing for consistent accuracy. A recessed muzzle crown helps protect the rifling from damage.
  • Feather Trigger: The X-Bolt's new three-lever Feather Trigger provides a clean, crisp pull with no take-up or creep and minimal overtravel.
  • X-Lock Scope Mount: X-Lock cope mounts feature an all-new four screw per base design that replaces the traditional two-screw system. The benefits are obvious, with the bases being secured at all four corners.
  • Inflex Technology: This recoil pad has proprietary construction and material to promote a directional deflection of recoil forces, pulling the stock comb away from your face to reduce felt recoil and muzzle climb.
  • Bolt Unlock Button: The bolt unlock button works in conjunction with the top-tang safety to provide an added measure of safety during checking and unloading of the chamber.
  • 60-Degree Bolt Lift: Short 60° bolt lift is fast cycling and allows you to work the bolt quickly without the scope getting in the way.
  • Rotary Magazine: An all-new detachable rotary magazine is incorporated into the X-Bolt. Constructed from a durable lightweight polymer, the magazine is designed to feed cartridges directly in-line with the bolt.
