During the past decade, we've seen retail stores cleaned out by the surging demand for firearms and ammo. In fact, a recent report by the NSSF shows that the economic impact of the firearms trade has grown by 125 percent from 2008 until today. During that same time period, employment in the gun industry has increased by 58 percent.
With the 2016 presidential election drawing near, gun owners see an opportunity to elect a representative who is willing to protect our rights.
To support gun owners, the 45th president will need to address a number of specific hot-button firearm-related issues, such as arbitrary ATF ammo "bans," sanctions on imported firearms and ammo, NFA laws, and concealed carry reciprocity, among others.
We hit the floor of the 2015 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits to ask NRA Members: "With the 2016 presidential election coming up, what's the most important Second Amendment topic for candidates to support gun owners?"
