Pulsar Krypton FXG50 Thermal Imaging Front Attachment: First Look

Pulsar has unveiled the Krypton FXG50 Thermal Forward Attachment. As Pulsar’s flagship forward-attachment, the Krypton quickly and easily converts your daytime riflescope to a premium, full-feature, thermal optic perfect for around-the-clock shooting and hunting adventures, and doubles as a 24-hour handheld monocular.

The Krypton’s new 640x480 microbolometer sensor—produced in the USA—provides users with a massive 2500-yard adult-size heat signature detection range while a highly-sought-after 12-micron pixel pitch further enhances the image quality Pulsar customers have come to expect, revealing stunning landscape and wildlife details even in zero light. As a true dual-purpose thermal imager, the Krypton’s quick-release adapter and Precise Screen Positioning (PSP) Mechanism allows you to quickly remove and reattach the Krypton in precisely the same position.

Even in low-light conditions, users can easily make quick adjustments with the Krypton’s user-friendly controls and sequential menu interfaces, reducing heat-of-the-moment stress and maximizing the joys of hunting and shooting. Its lightweight, magnesium alloy body boasts IPX7 waterproof rating, ensuring peace-of-mind device operation in a wide variety of environmental conditions!
