Frank DeSomma, the designer of the POF-USA Revolution, showed off his new rifle to Michael Bane, host of Shooting Gallery on Outdoor Channel and Shooting Gallery Online on MyOutdoorTV.com, at NRA 2018.
The Revolution rifle is truly revolutionary, as it won the 2018 Golden Bullseye award and was Rifle of the Year. The Revolution is a .308 rifle built on a .223 platform. DeSomma and POF-USA have been working on and testing this gun since 2014. It was released in the first quarter of 2017. They used an M16 sized barrel extension and bolt. The bolt face has been modified to fit the .308 platform. The magwell is larger to work with the Magpul magazine. This rifle is the ultimate fighting machine because it bridges the gap between lightweight carbines and heavy battle rifles. This rifle is light and accurate like a carbine but packs a much bigger punch. The rifle weighs only seven pounds, and will revolutionize the way the AR15 is made. This rifle is perfect for military and law enforcement use. It is the ultimate fighting machine and its name fits it perfectly.
