The Daniel Defense ISR — optimized for the versatile .300 Blackout cartridge — is now lighter, quieter, and more accurate than ever before. Built around a 9-inch, cold-hammer-forged barrel with a pistol-length gas system calibrated for its integral suppressor, this high-performance rifle delivers both subsonic and supersonic projectiles with greatly reduced muzzle blast and flash, helping to conceal a shooter's location and keep the user on target with faster follow-up shots and less degradation of vision, particularly in low-light situations.
The Daniel Defense ISR's integral suppressor extends the barrel to the NFA-required 16 inches in length, so this platform is not classified as a Short Barreled Rifle (SBR) and only requires one tax stamp (for the suppressor). The suppressor's durable tube is finished with high-temp Cerakote-C, capable of withstanding extreme temperatures under harsh conditions, and the user-serviceable baffle core is easily removable for periodic maintenance.
The Daniel Defense ISR now comes equipped standard with our long MFR XL 15.0 handguard, which features a continuous 1913 Picatinny rail on its top for mounting iron sights or optics, and also has Keymod attachment points at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. This longer, multi-functional handguard, in conjunction with a Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip, make the DDM4ISR as ergonomic as it is versatile. A resilient Mil Spec + Cerakote finish protects this firearm from the elements.
