Barrett's New Integrally-Suppressed MRAD .308

Barrett's New Integrally-Suppressed MRAD .308

The Barrett MRAD (Multi-Role Adaptive Design) rifle has already proven itself as an effective and popular choice for both the military and law enforcement as well as civilians looking for a rifle with a tactical pedigree.

Now Barrett has introduced a new integrally-suppressed variant of the MRAD chambered in .308 Win./7.62 NATO.

The new Integrally-Suppressed MRAD sports a stainless-steel match-grade barrel that has been specially designed for both subsonic and supersonic ammunition with an integral suppressor. The barrel and integral suppressor are packaged together and are housed almost entirely within the receiver, with only a small portion of the suppressor extending beyond the handguard.

Because of the suppressor's titanium construction and because most of the suppressor length is contained within the receiver, the end result is a much more compact and lightweight suppressed firing platform.
