Aero Precision Expands to Include Stag Arms, Ballistic Advantage and VG6 Precision
President of Sales & Marketing Ryan Donahue and Guns & Ammo Editor-in-Chief Eric Poole announce Aero Precision's acquisition of Stag Arms, Ballistic Advantage and VG6 Precision. Also news, Aero Precision broadens its product offerings with the introduction of the SOLUS bolt-action rifle, which features an open-source ecosystem. What does “open source” mean? No gunsmithing is required for a rifleshooter to custom build a sub-MOA SOLUS. The SOLUS uses a one-piece short action that accepts Model 700-type triggers, Zermatt Orgin prefit barrels of various calibers, and an M700-footprint competition chassis or hunting stock. Aero Precision also introduces the LOHAR 30 suppressor with direct-mount or QD mount. Stag Arms revealed the Pursuit rifle in popular .308 and 6.5 calibers. Stag Arms hasn't forgotten its roots, though, and unveiled a yellow-colored AR-15-type rifle nicknamed “Col. Mustard.” It is available with both right- and left-hand eject. Finally, Ballistic Advantage has moved into aftermarket drop-in pistol barrels, which are offered with different finishes, threading and flutes to suit a shooter's personal style.
