The original PPS made its debut in 2007, and while a lot of people loved its trim lines, making it really easy to conceal, plenty of U.S. gun owners were less than thrilled with the paddle-style magazine release. Walther changed that to the American-style button release with the M2, and it also changed the grip geometry so it feels better in the hand and is easier to control during firing. Chambered to 9mm, it weighs a mere 21.1 ounces and is only an inch wide.
