In 2014 SureFire added the 2211 Luminox Wrist Light to its lineup of hands-free wrist lights. For 2015, the company is further expanding the line with the introduction of the new 2211X Wrist Light, their most affordable wrist light yet.
The new 2211X Wrist Light features a rugged, dual-output 300-lumen LED paired with SureFire's proprietary faceted reflector for a wide, evenly dispersed beam. The wrist light runs on a single disposable 123A lithium battery and has a run time of 1.5 hours on high and 13 hours on its 15-lumen low setting.
Designed to be worn on the support hand, the 2211X's light is perfectly aligned toward the target when the wearer is holding a pistol with a two-handed grip. As with previous 2211 wrist lights, the 2211X incorporates a one-touch max-output switching, which means the light activates at its highest setting when the pushbutton switch is pressed. Pressing and holding the button activates the low setting for close range and non-tactical applications.
The 2211X features a lightweight, high-impact polymer body and rests on a nylon adjustable strap.
