The Remington 700 bolt-action rifle was first introduced in 1962 and had an immediate and major impact on the shooting and hunting world. That tradition has continued today with the Remington 700 American Wilderness Rifle (AWR). This bolt action is made with a 416 stainless-steel barreled action that has a black Cerakote finish to protect against corrosion and a 24-inch free-floated barrel with 5R rifling. The all-weather Grayboe stock is made of fiberglass that is put under high pressure and heat to create a strong and stable stock made for the mountains.
