Lockdown revolutionized firearms storage with the release of their SecureWall panels by making it easy and affordable to build a custom “gun wall” in your home, shop, or office. Their SecureWall panels look good, mount easily, and are available in a variety of sizes so you can customize them to your space. They’re also less expensive than a gun safe and take up considerably less space in your home. SecureWall Standard Panels are available in 4” by 24”, 16” by 24”, and 32” by 24” sizes with MSRPs ranging from $24.99 to $55.99. Their Heavy Duty panels are available in both 16” by 24” and 32” by 24” and range in price from $49.99 to $69.99. All Lockdown panels offer an easy mounting system (no track required) and their proprietary pattern works both with SecureWall accessories and standard pegboard hooks. Each powder-coated panel has attachment points from edge to edge, allowing you to maximize space.
In addition to their SecureWall panels Lockdown offers a full range of accessories that include baskets, shelves, handgun barrel pegs, gun hangers, and more. Each year Lockdown adds new and innovative accessories that make it easier and more efficient to keep your gear safe and accessible. Also new this year is the online configurator that helps you determine which panels and accessories you need to fit all your guns. The configurator helps you design a personalized gun wall, and you can add products to your digital shopping cart during the design process. When you have designed your perfect SecureWall with all the right accessories you simply purchase the items selected and you’re on your way to more efficient firearms storage.
Accessories can be attached to the SecureWall with a modular mounting system that hooks into the slots that dot the panels. The most difficult part of designing your SecureWall system is choosing which of the available accessories to add to your wall, and SecureWalls has added even more accessory options this year to help you further customize your space. Here’s a list of the best new Lockdown accessories—items that we look forward to adding our own SecureWall panels to make them even more versatile.
SecureWall AR-15 Kit ($49.99) Ars are America’s most popular centerfire rifles, and the new AR-15 Kit comes with a standard 4” by 24” panel, a SecureWall AR-15 Hanger, and a SecureWall AR-15 Mag Rack. The AR-15 hanger is cleverly designed to secure your firearm while still offering rapid access to the gun. There’s a polymer peg that can be inserted into the magazine well of your AR, and the peg is attached to a durable powder-coated metal hanger. The peg can be removed and repositioned to store the rifle horizontally or vertically, and the cant of the magazine peg orients the rifle with the muzzle closer to the panel so there’s no risk of it falling from the wall. Swapping from vertical to horizontal orientation requires removing and replacing the included screws, a simple process that can be accomplished in a matter of minutes. If you have a single AR rifle this is undoubtedly the simplest, most efficient, and most secure way to store your gun, and since the kit comes with a SecureWall AR-15 Mag Rack you can also store your magazines as well.

SecureWall AR-15/AR-10 Hangers ($14.99) The AR-15 and AR-10 Hangars come in two configurations, allowing for rifles to be mounted horizontally or vertically, with both hangars holding on to the rifle via the magazine well. Lockdown is offering their AR-15 Hangers as well as AR-10 Hangers separately (not part of the above kit), and that’s likely your best option if you own multiple AR rifles of different calibers. These hangers allow you to mount multiple AR rifles on a single SecureWall panel, making the most of your wall space. My large (32” by 24”) Heavy Duty panels could hold a half-dozen AR rifles either vertically or horizontally without issue, and because these Hangers are available in both AR-15 and AR-10 sizes it was no issue to hang my 5.56/.223 rifles alongside my .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor rifles. Both the AR-15 and AR-10 Hangers fit well in the mag wells of the rifles for which they were designed, and there’s no slop which means you won’t inadvertently knock the gun from the wall. On the contrary, these hangers effectively secure your valuable rifle in place until you need it, and they are far more efficient (and affordable) than storing guns in a floor-mounted safe.
SecureWall AR-15 Mag Rack and Pistol Mag Rack ($12.99) I consider these must-have items for any SecureWall owner. The AR-15 Mag Rack holds three magazines vertically, perfect for organization and storage. AR-15 magazines are easy to lose or misplace as they travel to and from the shooting range, so having a convenient and easy storage solution is a great option. The Pistol Mag Rack holds five single or three double-stack pistol mags, and it’s a great addition to a SecureWall panel that is already outfitted with pistol barrel pegs or hangers. Of course, these lightweight magazine racks can be positioned anywhere on the panel to maximize storage space and they provide instant access to your magazines when you need them. They’re also quite affordable and make great gifts for anyone who already owns SecureWall panels.
SecureWall Gun Lock ($14.99) The Gun Lock offers an added layer of protection for your firearms by attaching them via a locking cable to the SecureWall. The included metal peg locks in place to your SecureWall panel, and holes in the peg allow you to attach a cable lock (which is also included). This is a perfect setup for gun shop owners or gun ranges since it adds an extra layer of protection and helps ensure that your guns don’t fall into the wrong hands. The heavy-duty cable secures the firearm to the wall, but if you need rapid access to your gun you can quickly unlock the cable and retrieve the firearm. I paired the Gun Lock with my Pistol Hangers that were already installed on the wall, which worked very well.

SecureWall Bin Hanger 2-pack ($14.99) Everyone who owns firearms knows how easy it can be to lose small parts like cover plates, screws, spare magazines, and tools. The Bin Hanger conveniently solves that problem by offering easy access to small items. These plastic bins secure to the wall via metal hangers and come with a clear panel and label so you can instantly identify the items within. If you need to remove the bin from the wall you can simply lift it from the hanger and return it when you are finished. This means no more rooting through oversized bins or range bags to find the items you need. This is an affordable and worthwhile addition to any SecureWall panels, and because they are so compact you can tuck these bins into the unused space on your SecureWalls for more efficient storage.
SecureWall Universal Adapter 4-Pack ($5.99) Additional Lockdown products can be mounted via adapter screws, which are available in packs of four on Lockdown's website. The Universal Adapter is an inexpensive and versatile addition to your SecureWall panels. Each pack contains four adapters with T-nuts, washers, and fasteners that mount directly to the SecureWall and make it easy to store a wide variety of items including Lockdown products like the Gun Concealment Magnet, Magnum Magnet, dehumidifier rods, and more. You can also attach lights, flags, signs, and other items to further customize your panels.
