Bet you didn't know that Ithaca — makers of the famous Model 37 pump shotgun — also built 1911s for the World War II effort. The company is back in the 1911 game, manufacturing pistols in its state-of-the-art facility in Sandusky, Ohio. The 1911-N is a real looker, available in hard chrome, polished blue or matte-black finishes. Grips are cocobolo. The rear cocking serrations are slightly angled and deeper and wider than GI 1911s for sure purchase. The guns ship with either Novak carry sights or BoMar adjustables.
