In this segment of Guns & Ammo TV’s “Pros vs. Joes,” former U.S. Special Forces Officer Tom Beckstrand and G&A TV Producer Darin Narlock face off in a long-range challenge. Shooting the Kimber Advanced Tactical 8400 SOC II rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor with a Nightforce NX8 4-32x50mm F1 scope mounted on top, they attempt to slug it out.
The challenge is to spin one rotation on a Revolution Targets Hostage Target within 10 shots as soon as possible. To even the odds, Narlock shoots from the prone position using a bipod, while Beckstrand shoots from a supported kneeling position. Both shooters learn to appreciate the importance of a level rifle when shooting at long distance, and the bubble level on the Kimber’s chassis proves its worth. This challenge was a close one. Who gets to walk away with bragging rights?
