Federal Ammunition Donates N95 Masks to Local Hospitals

The rate of production for medical masks cannot keep up with the growing demand for protection. Until manufacturing speed can be ramped up, donations from companies in different industries could mean the difference between a clean mask and a scarf from home. Federal Ammunition has stepped up to do their part in protecting doctors, nurses and medical professionals. The company has just reallocated cases of N95 masks from their equipment inventory in Anoka, Minnesota, for donation to local hospitals.

Of the predicted shortage in supplies such as ventilators, gloves and hospital beds, medical masks have been scarce since March 1, 2020. Despite the CDC’s best efforts to drive that through our heads, hospitals and doctor’s offices are now faced with a concerning lack of masks. It’s been reported by Fox News that some medical workers are having to use bandanas or scarves in a last-ditch effort to protect themselves.

The rise of COVID-19 across America is causing a decline in more than just the stock market. As the number of cases grows, so does the demand for medical equipment essential to fighting the virus. A shortage of equipment vital to protecting our healthcare professionals has become a glaring concern in the struggle to contain the novel coronavirus.
