On the final day of SHOT Show 2018, OSG live stream host Michael Bane met up with Rich Angstadt of Angstadt Arms to discuss the all-new UDP-45 Pistol Caliber Carbine and talk some company history.
With pistol caliber carbines the primary focus of Angstadt's North Carolina-based company over the last four years, this new .45 ACP model impressed Bane and other gun writers and industry reviewers that were walking the crowded aisles of the 40th anniversary SHOT Show in Las Vegas.
According to Angstadt, while the new UDP-45 is built around the Glock .45 caliber magazine, it accepts all .45 double-stack magazines.
With the firearm's upper receiver and lower crafted from 7075 billet aluminum, the UDP-45 also features a clear and crisp Holosun optics unit on top, a high-powered flashlight on top, and a rugged suppressor.
With less recoil than a standard AR15 rifle, the new UDP-45 from Angstadt Arms is a great choice for shooters looking to punch targets on the range, to enter the world of competition shooting, or have a dependable weapon for home defense.
