SureFire's new rechargeable 2211 Signature Series WristLight features a high-performance LED focused by a refractive optic that produces a maximum light output of 300 lumens for one hour on its high setting. It also incorporates a SureFire branded watch movement from Citizen Watch Company of America.
The 2211 Signature is designed to automatically align downrange when strapped to the support-side wrist when a pistol is held in a standard two-handed grip. The LED's output can be adjusted from 300 lumens to 60 and 15 lumens to increase runtime by pressing either of its ambidextrous switches.

A rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the 2211 LED, while a separate non-rechargeable lithium disk battery powers the watch for continuous timekeeping even when the rechargeable battery is fully depleted. A built-in LED fuel gauge also notifies the user when it's time to recharge the battery, which can be accomplished with an USB charging cable (included).

We, at Guns & Ammo, have been loyal users of Mayflower Research and Consulting gear for many years. Recently, Mayflower RC merged with sister company Velocity Systems. One of the new company's latest designs is a 48-hour assault pack.
The new pack is a midsized unit for everyday use or for short-duration operations. The pack is very lightweight using 500d Cordura and breathable, durable, and hydrophobic Durastretch 520e Tweave in strategic locations.
The pack features two main zippered pockets that include a separate hydration bladder sleeve and a small internal zippered pocket for items like a wallet, cell phone or keys. The slick front of the pack features a stash pocket secured by an ITW-Nexus IR buckle, as are the other polymer components. The pack features three strips of Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) webbing on the left side for adding an additional pouch, and a water bottle pocket on the right side of the pack.

Emerson's legendary CQC-7F is one of the most iconic tactical knives of modern times. The original was made popular by a select unit within U.S. Naval Special Warfare beginning in the 1990s and continues to be a staple within that and other tactical communities today.
The dimensions of the CQC-7F are ideal for a knife destined for multiple tasks. It's chisel-ground, 3.3-inch Tanto-style blade is constructed of tough S35VN steel and holds a razor-sharp edge. It balances nicely in-hand and features textured G-10 scales and a titanium frame and line lock.

Barry Dueck, former U.S. Marine turned high-level competitive shooter, and head of SureFire's Suppressor Division, created an advanced mounting plate called the RBU, or Red Dot Back Up sight base.
What's unique about theRBU is that it integrates fixed iron sights into the base plate to replace the rear sight on a Glock or Smith & Wesson M&P pistol when a red dot sight is mounted.
Several different models are available and host most mini red dot sights on the market. All that is needed for installation is either a sight pusher, or a hammer and punch, and the RBU goes on like any aftermarket rear sight, while a pair of set screws provide an additional level of security.
Simply center the RBU in the dovetail, mount and zero your optic and you're in business. Iron sights will be visible in the center of your optics lens, or in the lower one-third as a reference or as a backup in case of optic failure.
In mid September, one of the G&A editors visiting the SIG Sauer Academy observed two new female shooters using the RBU during a training class. The gain in performance not only surprised the author, but also the class shooting instructor, who stated "their shooting is simply incredible." Magpul's new X-22 Backpacker stock for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown (TD is reminiscent of the Henry AR-7 semiautomatic U.S. Survival Rifle chambered in .22LR, a favorite of bush pilots and backcountry adventurers. What is unique about the X-22 is how the forend and barrel assembly lock into the stock during transport.
To takedown the stock, simply remove the barrel assembly by pressing the takedown plunger under the forearm and slide the chamber end of the barrel into a rubberized sleeve at the stock's toe. That's it and you're ready to move.
Aside from the convenience of the X-22's ability to stow within itself, two integrated storage compartments caught our attention during our review. The first is an O-ring-sealed, water-tight compartment within the grip that was sized to fit a Victorinox Huntsman knife, matches and tinder, plastic bags, etc. A second compartment is found beneath the hinged, removable/replaceable stock comb. This compartment is specifically engineered to accept three, 10-round 10/22 magazines or one 10-round magazine and a box of 50 .22LR cartridges. Removable dividers prevent rattling, and all items fit securely.
We set up our compartment to hold two magazines and two small Ziplock baggies containing 20 rounds each, which offers us 60 rounds on board — not to include an inserted magazine. That's an afternoon of fun in a small, compact package.

Para-Claw is an appropriate name for what looks like a benign bracelet made of woven 550 paracord. Intended for everyday carry (EDC), the Para-Claw conceals a 1½-inch hawkbill blade that's been ground from stainless steel and coated with a BlackStone finish.
When the claw is not out, it's secured in a guard that's tied to the paracord bracelet and said to be molded of a mixture of glass and nylon. Interestingly, when you grab and the serrated spine with your thumb and squeeze the hook to unlock, the claw can be quickly withdrawn and ready for self-defense — or box cutting. And it works for either right- or left-hand release. The length of the bracelet falls to the pull of gravity, intuitively forming a handle for precise control within the palm of your hand.
