The Leupold Deltapoint 2 reflex sight was developed as a lighter and faster version of their original Deltapoint.
Compared to the original, the Deltapoint 2 offers a 50-percent increase in battery life, allowing the sight to run for up to 6 months without changing batteries. When the time comes to change batteries, the battery access compartment is located on top of the sight, so the entire unit doesn’t need to be removed from the gun to restore power.
The Deltapoint 2 also includes a manual power switch, and the ability to adjust reticle brightness manually or automatically with a built-in ambient light sensor.
Available in two variations based on mounting requirements, the Deltapoint 2 comes to market in mid-2014 at a price of $400 to $450.
