First Look: Crimson Trace LiNQ

Combining a green laser sight and a 300-lument LED white light with instinctive activation for AR-type modern sporting rifles, the Crimson Trace LiNQ offers complete wireless control of the laser and light module by using a secure, individual connection.

The replacement grip is ergonomically designed for quick activation and mode changes, eliminating the need to reach the rifle's forend to operate. The green laser sight, coupled with a powerful tactical light, offers high visibility in all lighting conditions, making the Crimson Trace LiNQ the ultimate illumination and targeting solution.

The light and laser module itself is built into a water-resistant aluminum body that is both windage and elevation adjustable. The module mounts onto a standard 1913 Picatinny rail using Secure Lock technology and offers four modes: laser and light, laser only, light only and laser and light strobe.

The laser and light module is controlled through an instinctive activation button located on the forward portion of the grip. On the left side of the grip, there is a push pad that allows the shooter to switch modes, along with a sync indicator light to alert users that the module has been paired with the grip. The grip is made of a waterproof polymer and also includes a master on/off switch in addition to the other controls.

The light and laser module is powered by a single AAA battery or two CR123 batteries, which power it for a full two hours. The module itself is built on a secure singular closed system that pairs with its respective grip for life. The suggested retail price for the LiNQ system is $549.
