First Look: Suppressor-Ready Rimfires from Savage

savage_suppressor_ready_rimfireSavage Arms has recently expanded its lineup of suppressor-ready rifles, adding three new rimfire rifles with threaded muzzles to accommodate aftermarket suppressors. The new offerings are the Model 93 FV-SR chambered in .22 WMR, the Model 93R17 FV-SR chambered in .17 HMR and the Model 64 FV-SR chambered in .22LR.

Both the bolt-action Model 93 FV-SR and Model 93R17 FV-SR weigh 5 1/2 pounds, have overall lengths of 35 1/4 inches and have barrel lengths of 16 1/2 inches. Each features a heavy, fluted barrel; an oversize bolt handle; a five-round detachable magazine; and Savage Arms’ user-adjustable AccuTrigger.

The semiauto Model 64 FV-SR weighs 5 pounds, has an overall length of 36 inches and a barrel length of 16 1/2 inches, and it comes equipped with a 10-round detachable magazine.

All three rifles feature half-inch, 28-pitch threaded muzzles with twist-off thread protectors and are available now for $231 to $358.
