One of the more interesting concepts introduced this year is the CMMG Mk47 Mutant, an AR platform designed specifically to chamber the 7.62x39 round used in the AK-47 and its variants.
Now, CMMG is offering other variants of its ubiquitous Mutant rifles, including a pistol and a short-barreled rifle.
The Mk47 K pistol comes with a shortened 10-inch barrel, with an overall length of 26.5 inches. Otherwise, all of the features remain the same as the standard Mk47 rifle, including the SV muzzle brake, the RKM9 KeyMod handguard, and Magpul furniture. The pistol's suggested retail price is $1,499.95.
The Mk47 K SBR features many of the same components as the K pistol, including the 10-inch barrel. The SBR also includes an attached Magpul CTR stock, which makes it an NFA item. The SBR retails at a suggested price of $1,629.95.

The newly expanded line also includes California-compliant models of the Mk47. These models all include a 16.1-inch barrel with the SV muzzle brake and RKM15 KeyMod handguard. Options include the addition of Magpul furniture and a Geissele SSA two-stage trigger. All models come with a 10-round magazine and an installed bullet button. The base CA rifle's suggested retail price is $1,549.95.
All Mk47 models, including the California-compliant model, retain the ability to accept AK magazines and drums.
