Introducing the Colt LE901

by G&A Online Editors   |  January 20th, 2012 4

Colt introduced the brand new Colt LE901 assault rifle at SHOT Show 2012 in Las Vegas. Along with fully ambidextrous safeties and mag releases, the LE901 can also easily be converted to a higher caliber — an entirely removable upper assembly means any mounted optics will stay zeroed once removed. Special thanks to Military Arms Channel for the video!

been seeing this for almost a year, be nice when it is on gunbroker and in my local gun store.

Finally, someone addressed the ambi safety and mag release . . . how many years that take? Now put it in .300 Blackout and now we are talkin!

  • Buy a Armalite

Too bad it isn't a modular system! These are NOT shipped with the blocks needed to run a 5.56 upper or even insert a M-16 magazine in it. It is a $2200 AR-10, made by colt, not worth the extra $1000 over an Armalite AR-10 carbine.
