Introducing the Remington R1 Stainless

by G&A Online Editors   |  January 19th, 2012 6

Remington introduced the brand new Remington R1 Stainless at SHOT Show 2012 in Las Vegas. Building on the same features as the original R1 model, Remington’s brand new semiauto now comes in a stainless package with three-dot sights and a beavertail grip safety — a visual throwback to classic World War II sidearms. Check out the video from SHOT Show!

I wish they made a Commiefornia legal version.
Better yet I gotta get out of this joke of a state.

I got out of the republic of calimexico a year ago. Moved to Georgia where guns are still considered a right. Love it here, he'll even my doctor carries a gun when he examines you. Gotta love it.

Well Ruger, Ya blew it! If you can't get the SR1911, this looks like a great alternative

Looks like the SR1911 from Ruger. Price is about the same. I wonder how well it shoots. The Ruger shoots sweet and mine has yet to choke on anything I feed it.

Write ups on the blued version seem to have more than their share of problems. Not like they invented a new product from scratch. Any price on the s/s version and availability yet?

I don't know what California's problem is with guns. The thugs have no problem getting assault weapons and we have no defense against them. It's like they want us to be targets.
