The four new 10mm P220 pistols are:
- Match Elite Reverse Two-Tone P220
- Stainless Elite P220
- Stainless Elite Nitron P220
- Hunt Ready P220
All models sport a 5-inch barrel for a 5.5-inch overall length and have a capacity of eight rounds. Each pistol has a width of 1.5 inches, a height of 8.9 inches and a weight of 39.1 ounces with the magazine.
The Match Elite Reverse Two-Tone P220 features the Elite Beavertail, a stainless finish with front cocking serrations, black G-10 Piranha grips and adjustable match sights. The Match Elite uses a Double-Action/Single-Action (DA/SA) trigger with a pull of about 10 lbs. in double-action and 4.4 lbs. in single-action. It is available for $1,422.
The Stainless Elite P220 and Stainless Elite Nitron P220 utilize a 5-pound single-action trigger and incorporate SIGLITE night sights and front cocking serrations. The Stainless Elite has a natural stainless finish and Rosewood grips, while the Stainless Elite Nitron features a durable Nitron finish and black G-10 Piranha grips.
Designed to be field-ready out of the box, the Hunt Ready P220 comes equipped with a SIG Sauer Romeo mini red-dot sight factory-installed and wears a Kryptek Highlander camo pattern finish. The Hunt Ready P220 also sports the Elite Beavertail, front cocking serrations and black G-10 Piranha grips.
The two new 10mm Auto ammo offerings in SIG’s Elite Performance line include:
- 180-grain 10mm Elite Performance V-Crown Jacketed Hollow Point (JHP)
- 180-grain 10mm Elite Performance Full Metal Jacket (FMJ)
The 10mm Elite Performance V-Crown JHP features a toothed cannelure located halfway up the shank of the bullet, which more effectively locks the jacket and core, resulting in improved structural integrity in a jacketed bullet and ensuring maximum weight retention and energy on impact. The JHP round also utilizes SIG’s proprietary V-Crown stacked hollow point bullet design, which helps provide controlled and uniform expansion, as well as DUCTA–BRIGHT 7A coated brass cases for enhanced lubricity, corrosion resistance and more reliable feeding and extraction.
