Kimber Introduces 2015 Summer Collection

Kimber_Summer_Collection_F Kimber has introduced its 2015 Summer Collection, a group of special edition pistols that includes both 1911 and Micro models.

The all-new lineup consists of the following pistols:

Diamond Ultra II in .45 ACP and 9mm

Stainless II (Classic Engraved Edition) in .45 ACP

Stainless II (Texas Edition) in .45 ACP

Micro Diamond in .380 ACP

Micro Bel Air in .380 ACP

Kimber | Micro Bel Air

The new Micro Bel Air pistol from Kimber features a mirror-polished slide and small parts and comes with a beautiful Bel Air Blue finish on the frame. It also sports classy Ivory Micarta grips.

Kimber | Stainless II (Classic Engraved Edition)

This pistol is accented by vine and leaf full-coverage engraving with stipple relief on the frame and slide. The Stainless II Classic Engraved Edition's mainspring housing also features a matching engraving, and the pistol sports high-grade walnut grips with Ivory Micarta checkered inlay. Available in .45 ACP.

Kimber | Stainless II (Texas Edition)

The Texas Edition of the Stainless II is a 500 unit, Limited Edition model that has numerous unique features. A specialized serial range starting with the prefix TXE denotes it as a Texas Edition pistol. The pistol also sports high polished flats on the slide and frame to complement the western leaf and scroll engraving with saw tooth border on the slide. Like the Classic Engraved Edition of the Stainless II, the Texas Edition's mainspring housing has an engraving pattern that matches the slide and frame. In addition, the 1835 motto, 'Come and Take It ' appears on the left bonded ivory grip panel, and the great State of Texas with the state flag is on the right panel.

Kimber | Diamond Ultra II

The latest addition to Kimber's special edition gem-tone line, the Diamond Ultra II has a mirror-polished slide with engraved scroll accents and Special Edition markings. The small parts on the pistol are also mirror-polished. Ambidextrous thumb safety, tritium night sights and aluminum ball-milled grips round out this pistol. It is available in .45 ACP and 9mm.

Kimber | Micro Diamond

Another new addition to Kimber's gem-tone line, the Micro Diamond has a mirror-polished slide and small parts, with the slide featuring engraved scroll accents and Special Edition markings. Other features include an ambidextrous thumb safety, tritium night sights and Ivory Micarta ball-milled grips.

Smith & Wesson Response PCC: Now Taking SIG Mags

Smith & Wesson's John Myles has been a regular on the New Product Premier, and he joins Joe Kurtenbach to run it back again at SHOT Show 2024. Last year the company introduced the Response pistol caliber carbine (PCC), an AR-styled platform designed to run off commonly available semiautomatic pistol magazines. A direct-blowback action powers the Response, but what sets the gun apart is its interchangeable magazine well. Mag wells are easy to swap for owners, and the Response comes with both an M&P mag option, as well as a mag well for Glock-pattern 9mm magazines. New for 2024 is a magazine well for SIG Sauer P320 mags. No matter what pistol platform you choose to shoot, Smith & Wesson wants you to rely on the Response for your PCC needs.

The new series utilizes a 4X zoom ratio across five magnification ranges: 1-4.5X, 2.5-10X, 4.5-18X, 6-24X, and 8-32X. Each magnification will include multiple scope variants offering first- or second-focal-plane reticles, as well as different reticle designs and illumination options.
