10 New Umarex Airguns for 2015

10 New Umarex Airguns for 2015

Umarex USA introduced a host of new airguns at the 2015 SHOT Show, ranging from faithfully designed replica pistols to high-powered precision air rifles.

One obvious trend we're seeing with airguns is how they've become highly robust. Supersonic velocities, fiber optic sights and noise dampening barrel systems represent modern technological integrations now available from Umarex USA.

Check out some of our favorite new Umarex airguns in the photos below, and be sure to see what else Umarex has in store for 2015.

Beretta Model 92A1

The Model 92A1 is a select fire air gun rendition of Beretta's famous M92A. Featuring a 26-round magazine and a realistic all-metal frame and a metal blowback slide that actually moves when the gun cycles, the Model 92A1 runs on a 12-gram CO2 capsule. It fires .177-caliber projectiles and is capable of producing velocities up to 330 feet per second (fps) with steel BBs. The air gun utilizes a single-action trigger and incorporates a 4.5-inch barrel for an overall length of 8.74 inches. It weighs 2.35 pounds.

Colt Peacemaker

Colt's Single Action Army was a staple of the American Old West, but plenty of people still cherish the gun and Umarex has capitalized on that with this air pistol. The Colt Peacemaker replicates many of the features of the original revolver, and this air pistol features a unique loading system wherein the user loads six steel BBs into six full-size casings. The replica air gun also has to be half-cocked to remove or load casings and the hammer must be manually cocked for each shot, just like Colt's original. Shooters can similarly quick-fire the Peacemaker by holding down the trigger and operating the hammer with the off hand. The Peacemaker is CO2-powered and is capable of velocities up to 410 fps. It fires .177-caliber projectiles, has a 10.75-inch overall length and weighs 2 pounds. The Peacemaker air pistol is available in two different finishes: blued and nickel.

Both versions run on a 12-gram CO2 capsule cavity accessed via the pistol's backstrap. The air gun version is capable of firing .177-caliber projectiles up to 400 fps, while the Airsoft version fires 6mm BBs at a maximum velocity of 420 fps. Both configurations utilize drop free magazines, with the air gun version holding 20 rounds and the Airsoft variant holding 15 rounds. The Airsoft pistol also features a built-in HopUp system for loading.

Legends M712

A replica air pistol version of the venerable and ground-breaking Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" pistol designed in the late 19th century, the M712 has a fully functional blowback system and features a selector to choose between semiauto or full-auto fire. The M712 can hold 18 .177-caliber projectiles and operates on 12-gram C02 canisters. It features a fixed front sight and an adjustable rear sight for elevation. The Legends M712 has a 5.5-inch barrel for an overall length of 12 inches and weighs just over 3 pounds.
