In a new collaboration with Manta Defense, LaserMax has developed a rugged, low-profile firearms light for duty and protective use. Emitting a 140-lumen Green LED light, Manta-Ray LMR-M offers target identification and illumination capabilities while permitting rapid mounting across a host of platforms by way of the Manta rail connection.
A situationally-adaptive lighting system, Manta-Ray snaps on and off the firearm rail without need for tools, levers or clamps. The light is powered by a rechargeable battery with a one-hour constant runtime.
For more reflexive staging on long guns and tactical firearms, Manta-Ray can also be run with LaserMax's optional remote activation switch. Other features of the Manta-Ray include a variable power output, constant versus momentary activation and programmable lockout to maintain control and light discipline.

The Manta-Ray LMR-M will be available in February 2016 with a suggested retail price of $219. The Manta-Ray will also be offered as an Infrared (IR) illuminator for use with night vision devices, projecting 340mW of IR light and priced at $265.
