A redesigned version of the original M82A1/M107, the new Barrett M107A1 is engineered to be lighter and stronger than its predecessor.
Built with a one piece aluminum receiver that features an integrated optics rail, the .50 BMG M107A1 weighs five pounds less than earlier Barretts and is designed for use with the QDL suppressor.
The Barrett quick-detach QDL suppressor significantly reduces sound decibels and muzzle blast. It also features a removable muzzle brake to reduce recoil, and is available in black or FDE Cerakote.
In the web exclusive photo gallery and video below, we test the suppressed M107A1 with 661-grain .50 BMG rounds at the Academi Training Facility in Moyock, North Carolina.
Several G&A editors were able to comfortably stand near the suppressed M107A1 until a 250-round ammo can was empty.
