Did These Guys Build the Most Tricked Out AR-15 Ever?

by G&A Online Editors   |  July 7th, 2012 56

You’d be hard-pressed to find a more customizable longarm than the ever-popular AR-15. There’s so many a la carte options to upgrade your AR that it borders on the ridiculous–we just happened to find a few guys happy to cross that border.

The boys at Moss Pawn and Ga., took a Smith & Wesson Muns in Jonesboro, G&P15 and pimped the everloving crap out of it, fitting the carbine with nine 30-round magazines — seven on the bottom, two on the side for storage — three lasers, three red-dot sights, a magnifier, four flashlights and a contour camera. All together, this behemoth weighs in at 23 pounds fully loaded. Hefty, sure, but it gets they job done. They’ve billed this monstrousity of modern technology as the “Ultimate AR-15 Mall Ninja Tactical Zombie.”

But is it the most tricked out AR you’ve ever seen? Check out the video.

these 2 guys are stupid…3 lasers, 4 lights and 3 optics????? have these fools ever heard of a chest rig for all those mags?

    • https://www.facebook.com/zachary.rider Zachary Rider

      You mad bro?

    • Alan_T

Here , I'll quote the first two sentences of the blog for you , phil ……

I'm guessing that English comprehension is not your strong suit .

  • Phil

and he is wearing hearing protection with a suppressor….WOW!!!!!

    • Grimor

      And your problem is what?

    • https://www.facebook.com/zachary.rider Zachary Rider

Thats not a suppressor you mouth breather.

  • Treese

A lot of that stuff is just plain unnecessary. You only need one laser, one sight, and just get a vest for the mags.

    • olo

Well thank you Captain Obvious. I'm sure your next great discovery will be that it is unwise to eat yellow snow….

      • frankgon4

        LOL

    • https://www.facebook.com/zachary.rider Zachary Rider

Thats the point. And only mall ninjas wear tac gear to the range.

    • Alan_T

I'll quote the first two sentences of the blog for you too , Treese ……

  • LittleBit74

the point of the over abundant accessories was to prove that people can go too far… but it was fun to shoot!

  • Wolvie

Yeah, these guys are hysterical. I've seen a bunch of their videos.

They originally built it as a joke, just to see how much they could possibly hang on that one rifle. After that, they wanted to see if it could actually shoot with all that stuff on it…and that's the video you see here.

These guys are really very informed and have a great sense of humor. You should check out their channel when you get the chance.

    • Alan_T

Wolvie , I bet our bestest buddy , Jeepers Creepers /Jon D Weatherspoon / Anishinabi would get 10 or 15 of them if they made it in . 50 BMG instead of whimpy ol' 5 .56 !
      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

      • jeepers creepers

I already own a number of .50 Caliber hand guns and one rifle. That you for the press.

    • Alan_T

      " That you for the press. " …… Jon ? ? ?

Maybe you can translate that for the rest of us into English , instead of Moron – Speak , Anishinabi ……

      Uh …….. I mean , Jeepers Creepers .

Or ……… whatever name you're using today .

  • ToryII

I've yet to find a reflex sight MOUNT that allows me to also use the fixed iron sight on my AK. I tried a reflex sight mounted on the fore grip, but the view of the front sight became very limited. I think the best approach would be a mounted sight on the right side (starboard side) where you tilt the gun counter clockwise to aim with the reflex sight.

  • Chris

    They forgot the cup holder.

    • Alan_T

      Cup holder ! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • corn_field_sniper

It seems like overkill, but I want 3

  • http://twitter.com/TKuglar @TKuglar

That is what I would call one mean gun WOW!

  • Alan_T

    I knew there was a reason why I wasn't awsome ……….. I don't have THAT rifle !
    Instead of stick mags , I'm gonna get 4 drum mags and weld then together so the lips are @ 12 – 3 – 6 and 9 o'clock .
I wonder if I can get it with four bayonet lugs and a couple of grenade launchers mounted on the barrel ?

    • phil

thats stupid you cant get 4 of those mags to work like that!

      • Alan_T

Yes ……. I know you can't , I was making what is commonly known as a joke .

  • Antonio

Nine 30-round mags! Residing in Jersey and being limited to 15-round mags, this just makes me want to laugh… and cry. Cup holder, good one.

  • JeffB

What I thought was funny with all of those aiming devices, he still just shot from the hip…..does not even look like he used the lasers :) Great way to blow through 270 rounds……

    • Alan_T

I could be wrong Jeff , but I think he's using the viewfinder on the POV camera that they've got mounted on the AR .

  • Blake

A cell phone mount should be essential along with that cup holder .

    • Alan_T

And …. a tactical " sippy – straw " to go with the cup holder !

  • Peter

They got to be kidding me! It weighs 23 pounds fully equipped, and what does any small arms weapon need to be 23 pounds. And all of this–…3 lasers, 4 lights and 3 optics- is overkill, and too heavy.

    • Alan_T

Here , I'll quote the first two sentences of the blog for you , Peter ……

  • Justanotheropinion

Just because you can doesn't mean that you should…

    • BOLO

Dont seem to stop you tho Justanotheropinion !

  • Cory

    No chainsaw bayonet?

    • Alan_T

I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT !
I want 4 chainsaw bayonets on mine Cory !

  • shooter

    They forgot the night vision!!!

  • Chris

Well whether it's the most tricked out AR is a matter of debate. Does doubling up on a feature actually count as adding a feature? I think not. What they have managed to do is to make the heaviest AR that I've ever seen.

  • Starky

How many accessories would a redneck accessorieze if a redneck could accessorize accessories.

    • Alan_T

      Uh …….. um …… 249 ? …. Is that the right answer ?
      Did I win ?

      • Guest

        LOL Alan

  • Redman1183

It's pretty obvious that these two built this rig as a fun poke at some the numbskulls out there building overly complex ar's. I think it's funny. It's nice to see that someone still has American currency to waste. Don't ever stop playing with big boy toys ladies and gentlemen.

    • Alan_T

Your's is the best comment yet Redman1183 !

  • JohnMN

Any idea why he's using his middle finger on the trigger?

    • Sequoyah

I think his trigger finger got tired and he was giving it a rest.

    • https://www.facebook.com/ridler12 Chad Ridler

my friend shoots rifle that way too. way he was taught by a relative who claimed it's more accurate and better trigger control. keeps his index finger pointed down range, i've tried it and it doesn't work for me and feels just goofy. I've never seen anyone else do that

      • Alan_T

I believe he was thinking about Nancy Pelosi .
….. or maybe it was Eric Holder .
        I mean …… that's why I would .
        HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    • Joe Cat

His finger got tired that's why his firing slowed down, had to switch fingers. They forgot the recoil activated rapid fire trigger.

  • Alan_T

Evidently , some people don't bother to actually READ the Blog or are woefully in need of a remedial course in English comprehension .

    Close quote .

THE STATED PURPOSE IN THE FIRST PARAGRAPH WAS TO SEE HOW RIDICULOUSLY OVER ACCESSORIZED THEY COULD MAKE IT !

  • Heretic

There's a picture on the homepage of M&A parts that has this one beat. Must see.

  • John McLain

I think they need a Slide Fire stock to go with that rig

  • Guest

its a bust that was stupid

  • dbw

Anyone else find this less amusing after Aurora, Colorado?

    • John

WOW, that talk is just dirty pool there sir.

  • John

    Also needs a compass.

  • Zach.B

all it needs is a tv and a a sweet tea maker then mount it to a atv your good to go

  • JamesWalkiewicz

I noticed that the cyclic rate of the AR went down the closer he got to the left or right side of the mags compared with the middle. I'm no mechanical engineer, oh wait, yes I am, but I think that it would cause some unwanted stress concentrations.

btw, he forgot to mount a bayonet and a bipod on it.
